Sometimes your biggest weakness can become your biggest strength.

The story of one 10-year-old boy who decided to study judo despite the fact that he had lost his left arm in a devastating car accident.
The boy began lessons with an old Japanese judo master. The boy was doing well, so he couldn't understand why, after three months of training the master had taught him only one move.
"Sensei," the boy finally said, "Shouldn't I be learning more moves?"
"This is the only move you know, but this is the only move you'll ever need to know," the sensei replied.
Not quite understanding, but believing in his teacher, the boy kept training.
Several months later, the sensei took the boy to his first tournament. Surprising himself, the boy easily won his first two matches. The third match proved to be more difficult, but after some time, his opponent became impatient and charged; the boy deftly used his one move to win the match. Still amazed by his success, the boy was now in the finals.
This time, his opponent was bigger, stronger, and more experienced. For a while, the boy appeared to be over matched. Concerned that the boy might get hurt, the referee called a time-out. He was about to stop the match when the sensei intervened.
"No," the sensei insisted, "Let him continue."
Soon after the match resumed, his opponent made a critical mistake: he dropped his guard. Instantly, the boy used his move to pin him. The boy had won the match and the tournament. He was the champion.
On the way home, the boy and sensei reviewed every move in each and every match. Then the boy summoned the courage to ask what was really on his mind.
"Sensei, how did I win the tournament with only one move?"
"You won for two reasons," the sensei answered. "First, you've almost mastered one of the most difficult throws in all of judo. And second, the only known defence for that move is for your opponent to grip your left arm."
Moral- The boy's biggest weakness had become his biggest strength...

Sometimes You Will Need Them

One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry. He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door. Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water. She thought he looked hungry so brought him a large glass of milk. He drank it slowly, and then asked, “How much do I owe you?” “You don’t owe me anything,” she replied. “Mother has taught us never to accept pay for a kindness.” He said, “Then I thank you from my heart.”

As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt stronger physically, but his faith in God and man was strong also. He had been ready to give up and quit.

Year’s later that young woman became critically ill. The local doctors were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease. Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation. When he heard the name of the town she came from, a strange light filled his eyes. Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room. Dressed in his doctor’s gown he went in to see her. He recognized her at once. He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best to save her life. From that day he gave special attention to the case.

After a long struggle, the battle was won. Dr. Kelly requested the business office to pass the final bill to him for approval. He looked at it, then wrote something on the edge and the bill was sent to her room. She feared to open it, for she was sure it would take the rest of her life to pay for it all. Finally she looked, and something caught her attention on the side of the bill. She began to read the following words:
“Paid in full with one glass of milk”
Moral-Don't be hesitant to help others to be empowered,,, Share what you have... Try to make the next person, successful. Sometimes you will need them in another way.... :)

Life is Worth Living

Its my humble request Read this once..

So you want to kill yourself? Because no one cares about you. Your family hates you. Right?
NO. Your parents walking in your room in the morning to only find a dead body. They’ll try their hardest to not think negative, and to just think that you’re fooling around.

Then they’ll start shaking you. Why aren’t you breathing? They’ll be broken.

Tears. Many tears. More tears than you ever shed. Was it ...them?

Were they the reason you did this? More tears. Pain. Every day. Every night. Every single second of every day. Guilt. More guilt...:(

What about your BEST FRIENDS? They’re not going to care. Right???

NO.
What’s the first thing that will go through their mind when your principal comes in and tells the class that you’re not alive.

While your bestfriend sits there in tears. That girl that you’d smile at but never talk to? She’s now crying.

The boy who used to kick you under the table just to annoy you? He’ll be shocked. He’ll be devastated. He’ll blame himself.

What about your teacher? Thoughts crossing her mind. She’ll question if you did it because she didn’t make school comfortable enough for you. Pain. Devastation. All in one.

Who organises your funeral? Who has to go through your stuff? Clothes? Notes? Those few older girls who used to give you daggers at school? They’ll feel regret. They’ll blame themselves.

See, if you killed yourself today, you’ll never know what might of happened tomorrow. You’ll never know because you’re dead. Plain dead. Not breathing. Not alive. Just dead.Your family hates themselves for it.

Your bestfriend then falls into depression. Tears. Tears. More tears than a river. All because you killed yourself because you thought no one would care. Right?

You are loved. By many. Someone right now is thinking of you. And right now, I’m thinking about anyone who has thought or is considering suicide.

You are beautiful. No matter if you’re black, white, homo-sexual, tall, short, overweight or anorexic. You are beautiful.

You want to kill yourself? Think about it first.

There’s no coming back. And I promise, if you do it, you are not only hurting yourself, you are hurting many. You are creating more tears than you led yourself to.

MORAL-You are making everyone miserable and making them all feel guilt and pain. Never will they feel whole like they used to when they had you. You are beautiful. And you are never ever alone. Share this hoping that someone somewhere will change their mind about suicide.

Realization of Past

A long time ago, there was an Emperor who told his horseman that if he could ride on his horse and cover as much land area as he likes, then the Emperor would give him the area of land he has covered.

Sure enough, the horseman quickly jumped onto his horse and rode as fast as possible to cover as much land area as he could. He kept on riding and riding, whipping the horse to go as fast as possible. When he was hungry or tired, he did not stop because he wanted to cover as much area as possible.

Came to a point when he had covered a substantial area and he was exhausted and was dying. Then he asked himself, "Why did I push myself so hard to cover so much land area? Now I am dying and I only
need a very small area to bury myself."

The above story is similar with the journey of our Life. We push very hard everyday to make more money, to gain power and recognition. We neglect our health , time with our family and to appreciate the surrounding beauty and the hobbies we love.

Moral-One day when we look back , we will realize that we don't really need that much, but then we cannot turn back time for what we have missed....

Control Your Temper

Once there was a little boy who had a bad temper. His father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the fence.

The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily, gradually dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence. Finally the day came when the boy didn’t lose his temper at all. He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper.

The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone. The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. He said “you have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one.”

You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. It won’t matter how many times you say I’m sorry, the wound is still there.

MORAL-Make sure you control your temper the next time you are tempted to say something you will regret later.

5 Bad Habits to Break Right Away

There are good habits and there are also bad habits. Good habits are worth keeping, especially if they lead you to succeed in life. Bad habits, on the other hand, should be ditched as soon as they are detected. If you know that you have bad habits and these habits are hampering you from performing at your best, you should really decide on getting rid of them.

Some of these habits may not sound so bad at all. Some of these habits may not sound too serious. However, when you continue to do them on a regular basis, the outcome may not be desirable at all. You may have great aspirations and great plans in life but if you cannot get rid of your habits, you might as well just forget dreaming at all.

Here are the five habits you should get rid of at once:

Procrastination

To always think that there is more time left is wrong. When you have a project or a simple task to fulfill, you should not leave it to the last minute. Those who have already made it to the top were able to do so because they acted on things immediately. A lot of people fail at things, or fail to submit accordingly because they submit hurried work. If you do not allot time to things you are supposed to do, how can you make sure that you have given it your best shot? Do not leave your projects to the last minute. Do it when you have to do it. Set yourself a time table because proper time management is one of the keys to your success.

Complacency

You should never be satisfied. You should never settle with mediocrity. If you want something and you have dreamed about this for so long, you should not stop until you get to where you are supposed to go. The moment you say: “this is okay”, will be the end of your dreams. If you really want to get somewhere, you should keep moving forward and not settle for anything that’s below excellent.

Imitation

While a lot of people find it safer to imitate other people, unfortunately there is no certainty and stability with it because for one, you will never get the credit for it, and two, fads easily die. Therefore, do not always focus on what others are doing. Do not try to follow what your competition is giving out. Instead, focus on what you can do. Focus on what you want to do and how you plan to do it. There is greater room for you to shine when you present something new. So do not imitate, and instead, innovate!

Tardiness

Tardiness, for anyone is a bad trait to have. As a student, you get a lot of demerits if you are tardy all the time. As an employee, in a small or big company, if you are tardy you get suspended and cuts will be made to your salary. Even as a business owner, you cannot think like you are the star and come in anytime you please. If you have a meeting, be there on time because the people who are supposed to meet with you important things to do, too. You can easily lose deals and opportunities because of tardiness. So, if you have problems with time, get yourself an alarm clock that works, or have someone give you a wake-up call.

Shyness

This is another deal breaker. In business, you should learn how to be a go-getter. You should be confident enough to deal with different people and you should not be afraid to speak about your ideas.

If you have any of these habits, you should work on improving them right away because if you don’t, then you might as well just say goodbye to your chance of ever reaching the level of success you want. These habits can easily pull you down and keep you blocked, no matter how hard you work.
