Success is Failure Turned Inside Out

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you’re trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest, if you must, but don’t you quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don’t give up though the pace seems slow—
You may succeed with another blow.

Often the goal is nearer than,
It seems to a faint and faltering man,
Often the struggler has given up,
When he might have captured the victor’s cup,
And he learned too late when the night slipped down,
How close he was to the golden crown.

Success is failure turned inside out—
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far,
So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit—
It’s when things seem worst that you must not quit.

Loneliness and the Psychological Perspective

They say one is the loneliest number and we all have times when we feel alone. We reach a point in time when we feel that one is the only number within our lives and feel that the only way to accomplish the goals and dreams we set for ourselves is achieved that way as an expedition of one to achieving what we feel at the time is the impossible.

We set out to face our problems on our own, confident in feeling we need to accomplish without the support of anyone else. We constantly struggle with the task at hand, facing many hardships and believe that in overcoming each obstacle to the task at hand is the only way to succeed. At times this is true…...which makes the triumphant victory of success that much sweeter.

But there are times when we need help...when doing it alone and struggling against the odds is more of an ends to defeat and disappointment and abandoning dreams, leaving them and one unfulfilled. And time is not limitless, and as more time passes and frustration turns to self-doubt of hopes for success we more than not surrender to defeat and abandon our dreams.

If the dream is worth obtaining, there is no shame in looking to others and asking for help. Dreams don’t simply die…for they are killed off by those who first dreamt them in the first place.

Asking for help is not a sign of weakness, but a sign of strength of one’s convictions. And when it’s offered, remember not to be ashamed of accepting it or thinking they didn’t believe in you to doing it on your own. Rather look at it as what it’s meant to be, a sign that they believed in you and proud that you looked for help in achieving your dream…rather than surrendering it.

The Impossible and the Truth

The impossible may seem distant, just too hard, and not possible. That is why it is tagged "impossible" but with every great success is a tag "possible and done!"
It is in the doing that we find the possible. It is when we do nothing that it stays impossible, at least until someone else comes along and takes our "impossible" and makes it possible for them.
We miss out when we don't try. When we try we find out. Be a doer and try.
Nothing is too hard for God. With God behind you nothing is too hard for you. Believe, have faith, use your courage, think positive, it will work out.
But be sure to be humble and honest in anything you do that God guides you to. God requires your heart felt honesty and love and everything will turn out alright.
